Jofre Moreno — Photographer and Visual Designer in Barcelona

HOTEL COL·LECTIU ESCÈNIC

DO NOT DISTURB

Performance photography for Suite nº4: Do Not Disturb, a dance-theatre production by HOTEL Col·lectiu Escènic, with dramaturgy and direction by Jordi Oriol.

The photographic series follows the company’s central language—dance and movement—to capture the physical tension, atmosphere and visual identity of the performance.

HOTEL COL·LECTIU ESCÈNIC

AQUÍ

Performance photography for AQUÍ, a site-specific dance work by HOTEL Col·lectiu Escènic inspired by Richard McGuire’s book of the same name.

The piece explores the body as organic material in dialogue with architecture. The images focus on movement, space and the intimate scenes that emerge and transform within each environment.

AQUÍ is an act of contemplation: a visual and physical reflection on the changing, ephemeral nature of the present moment.

DANSÀNEU

LES FILLES DE LILIT

Performing arts photography from Les Filles de Lilit, the closing production of the 33rd Dansàneu Festival, created in collaboration with Festival Clàssics and the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB).

With text curation by Carlota Gurt and stage direction by Sol Picó, the work brings together choreography and performance by Anna Hierro, Raquel Gualtero, Sònia Gómez and Sol Picó, with original music by the Barcelona Art Orchestra.

The photographic series documents a corporeal narrative about witches, rebellion and the traces left on the bodies of women who said no—four solos inhabited by Lilith, Medea, the Witch and Orlando.

LAIA SANTANACH

JARANA

Contemporary dance photography for Jarana by Laia Santanach, the third work in a trilogy researching traditions at risk of disappearing.

The images document a piece that reflects on cultural memory and the importance of preserving traditions while exploring new forms of collective expression in a changing, technological world.

LAIA SANTANACH

TRADERE

Contemporary dance photography for Tradere by Laia Santanach, a performance combining movement and live electronic music.

The project explores Western traditions in which the body is pushed through devotion, belief and the desire to belong to a community within a festive context.

This photographic series focuses on the body as a tool for expression, exposure and the intergenerational transmission of collective practices.

ABOUT

JOFRE

Portrait of Jofre Moreno, photographer and visual designer

I’m Jofre Moreno, a photographer and visual designer working between Mataró and Barcelona. I specialize in movement, performing arts, sport and portrait photography.

Photography is my way of observing and understanding what happens. I look for the authentic moment: a gaze, a gesture, tension in the body—the exact point where something real appears.

I work with light, space and visual storytelling to create photographs with strength, identity and intention.

I don’t just look for a beautiful image.

I look for an image that says something.

Each project is developed as a unique visual piece, carefully crafted from the first photograph to the final edit.
